AutoPlay Studio for Desktop

  • Windows 7 (Service Pack 1) / Windows 8.1
  • Unrestricted network access to web application: http://studio.autoplay.co.nz.
  • Internet Explorer 11 or better. (Latest version of Chrome or Firefox browser optional install for future support.)
  • Install Desktop version by right clicking on Window to ‘Install Application to this computer’ when login screen appears. Select both Start and Desktop.
  • Browser setting: Allow all pop ups for sites originating from *.autoplay.co.nz.
  • 24 inch Wide Screen monitor (1600 pixels by 900 pixels or better) recommended
  • Macintosh OS 10.5.7+ (Intel Based). Firefox 12+ or Safari 4+ browser. (No Audio functions supported on Mac OS.)
  • No display settings change from Windows default settings. (i.e. Font size, font DPI, icon size should be Windows default)
  • Microsoft Silverlight. (www.microsoft.com/silverlight)
  • Use recommended native Windows resolution for the attached monitor.
  • Latest security and update patch from Windows Update.

Internet Access via Desktop

  • Please install ‘Speedtest’ from Ookla from App Store to the iPad to test the wireless speed.
  • AutoPlay Studio Desktop requires unrestricted internet access via port 80.
  •  Ultra-Fast Broadband (Fibre 30, 100 if available).
  • No filtering, shaping, blocking, speed throttling or any network firewall access control (software or hardware) to and from AutoPlay servers below:

  • Minimum 15 Mbps download, 15 Mbps upload.* North Island: Speed Test to ‘SouthLoop’ server at Invercargill. South Island: Speed Test to Auckland (any server).
  • No email blocking (whitelist) for emails originating from mailer@autoplay.co.nz (IP: 210.48.75.200)

*Please note that if there are multiple mobile devices, each device must be able to sustain the minimum recommended upload and download speed concurrently.

Internet Access via Wi-Fi

  • AutoPlay recommends using iPad Sales Pipeline over mobile 3G/LTE (4G) network because of possible complexity of customized network/firewall security setup affecting app performance.
  • AutoPlay may need iPad Sales Pipeline access to 3G/LTE (4G) to determine if there is any network security (or firewall) affecting the performance of the app.
  • Using iPad Sales Pipeline over Wi-Fi network may (and most likely will) get better performance than 3G/LTE (4G) mobile network.
  • Upon determining an internal network may be affecting the iPad Sales Pipeline’s performance and usability, AutoPlay will provide technical information on the iPad app, recommendations on demand and best effort support to get iPad Sales Pipeline working to customer’s networking IT team.
  • Because of the different type of customized network security, firewall on a Wi-Fi network, performance and usability of iPad Sales Pipeline is not guaranteed.
  • 5GHz should be used where possible. Dead spots are to be filled using wireless extender meeting the wireless router's specification. That is, the extender should be in operating in 5GHz if main router is setup to do so.

AutoPlay continuously fine tune the performance of the AutoPlay Studio HD and AutoPlay Studio Desktop. The recommended requirements are currently a suggestion based on current observations from working/functioning locations, not derived from a comprehensive study of performance data. As such, requirements and recommended specs are subject to change with little or no notice. Please contact AutoPlay for latest recommended specifications.

Terms and Conditions

1
CONTRACT PERIOD:
1.1
The parties enter into this contract for a Minimum Period of twelve (12) months from the Online Date.
1.2
If the Customer terminates this agreement prior to the expiry of the Minimum Period or the Further Term then AutoPlay Automotive Ltd shall have the right to charge a cancellation fee of:
i. An amount equal to two months of the Customer's advertising spend with AutoPlay Automotive Ltd.
1.3
After expiry of the Minimum Period either party may, within 30 days of the date of expiry, cancel this agreement on 14 days written notice to the other party. If such notice of cancellation is not given then the term of the contract shall be deemed to have been extended on a month by month basis.

PRICE:
2.1
All prices are to be "plus GST". The Customer shall pay goods and services tax and any other taxes at the applicable rate in addition to all sums specified (unless specified otherwise).
3
PAYMENT TERMS:
3.1
The payment for any services provided is due and payable, by way of automatic payment to the bank account of AutoPlay Automotive Ltd, One month in advance of the Services being provided (called "the payment date").
3.2
Payment of the Set-up Fee, as detailed on previous page, is to be made within 7 days of the date of this Agreement.
3.3
Should payment not be received by the payment date, AutoPlay Automotive Ltd reserves the right to suspend provision of the Services unless and until payment is made.
4
LIABILITY:
4.1
In no event will AutoPlay Automotive Limited be liable (whether in contract. tort including negligence or otherwise):
(i) For loss of revenue or profit, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill or opportunity, loss of production, loss or corruption of data or wasted management or staff time; or
(ii) Loss, damage, cost or expense of any kind whatsoever that is indirect, consequential, or of a special nature, arising directly or indirectly out of these terms, even if the Customer has been advised of the possibility of such damages, and even if such loss, damage, cost or expense was reasonably foreseeable by either party.

MINIMUM SITE I.T. REQUIREMENTS:
5.1
Autoplay recommends a minimum level of internet bandwidth / speed be present to optimize the apps performance. This service can be either of the following:
(i) 3G mobile data service
(ii) Wireless service (note this must be unaffected by the dealership firewalls, Autoplay will discuss this with your IT department)
