AutoPlay Seems To Run Slowly. What Could Be Causing This?
Most slow-running issues come from something outside AutoPlay itself, usually your internet connection, antivirus software or a dealership firewall.
AutoPlay is built to run fast, even on slower connections. If it feels slow, check these first.
- Internet speed. A standard ADSL connection in a rural area runs around 5 Mbps down / 1.3 Mbps up; urban ADSL runs around 10 Mbps down / 0.8 Mbps up. VDSL or fibre should not show any speed issues. Test your connection at speedtest.net.
- Antivirus or firewall software. Ask your IT team to check whether either is throttling or scanning traffic to AutoPlay.
If your IT team confirms nothing on your network is affecting speed, contact support@autoplay.co.nz for help.
