Overview - Managing Contacts Via The Address Book
Manage your customer database in the Address Book: search contacts, add new ones, and control who can edit them.
What the Address Book is
The Address Book holds every customer and contact in AutoPlay. If you have a DMS or CRM integration, this includes contacts synced from that system, plus any contact created directly in AutoPlay, whether captured automatically from your website or added manually.
Contacts in the Address Book are what AutoPlay checks against when it shows "Matching Customers" while you load a new lead to the Sales Pipeline.

Who can access the Address Book
The Address Book screen is visible to users with the Manage Contacts role in Role Management settings. This role controls three things:
- Users with this role can view contacts and contact groups in the Address Book.
- Users flagged as Manager can also add, edit and delete contacts, and add or edit contact groups.
- You do not need the Manage Contacts role to search the customer database automatically when loading a new lead or contact.
