What Is 2-Factor Authentication?

This article explains what 2 factor authentication (2FA) does in AutoPlay and how to turn on the IP based exemption.

AutoPlay supports 2 factor authentication. When a user logs in, the system sends an SMS to their mobile to verify it's really them before granting access.

You can also set up 2FA by IP address. Users on your dealership Wi-Fi skip the secondary SMS code, but need it as soon as they leave that network. This is not on by default. To turn it on, email support@autoplay.co.nz.
